Vibrant and neon colors can be harsh on camera and might not give the desired aesthetic. Many of these colors can color cast on your skin. Often giving you a sickly appearance. Stick to bold, deep colors that flattering and complement your skin tone. Don't worry we will help you choose just the right color pallet.

Neon or Very Bright Colors

Extremely busy patterns, such as small checks, stripes, or intricate designs, can sometimes create a moiré effect on camera, making your photos look strange or distorted. Large patterns can be distracting and take away from your natural beauty. Pattern adds interest but use it sparingly. Instead of patterns, consider adding texture.

Please, please, please make sure each item is wrinkle free. I can work a lot of magic but taking wrinkles out of clothes is not one of them. We always suggest trying on each outfit the week before your session to ensure you love the look and fit. Make sure your outfits fit well and are comfortable to move in.

Wrinkled or Ill-Fitting Clothing

While it's great to show off your personal style, avoid overly trendy clothing that might look dated in a few years. Opt for timeless pieces. Think of the overall tone you want for your senior photos. You might want a mix of casual and more formal outfits to capture different aspects of your personality.

Overly Trendy Clothes

Your senior photos are a chance to showcase who you are, so make sure your outfits align with your personal style and interests. If you have not worn a dress in a few years…. You probably don’t want to throw on a dress just for your senior photos.
